Adoption Day!

Mom’s Memory Post: This was Rin’s photo on Craigslist. I met her at a dog park so we could make sure she and Marlo didn’t have major issues.

My strongest memory of that day is holding her and kissing her between the ears. I instantly adored this little, who’s reaction to new things was not to bark, but to quietly observe her surroundings for a bit before deciding what to do.

She was dropped off the following Friday for a trial weekend, but I knew even then that she was going to be my kid forever.
