Crap. We went down.

No photos of the crash, but I just wanted to let everyone know we are OK.

It started pouring hard again while we were on the highway and Mom could see it was even worse up ahead so she tried to pull off under a bridge. Our back end slid out and we went down.

We are fine. Mom has a banged up knee and hip, but it is just some bruises. I have a little scratch on one toe, but that’s it. The bike has slightly crooked handle bars and the speedometer has died, but otherwise it is also in working order.

We are going to recuperate at my Aunt’s house for a couple days and then get back on the road.
