After trying several other options, from plastic buckles to having some friends send us old helmet strap d-rings, we were frustrated by the added bulk of everything we tried. Mom finally concluded that she needed to just design a buckle for my harness. Several plastic tests later, and some help from Dad for material testing, they had the design sent off to be cut and we just got them back. Light weight, slim and plenty strong for my size, they will be perfect once mom has sanded the rough edges!!!
